preparation, now the war is upon us.

hardened hearts and hero songs sung loud.
Without the gates of Culhaven spreads endless sea, the battle
horde of Tory isle.

Now is a time for an accounting of allies, now is the time
for
A Counting Of Shields. (2009)
The culmination of many stories and an epic conflict with
the greatest of foes,
at Dumnonni Chronicles we are working toward making Outlore
2009 something a bit special,
1) This will not be an easy event as things will heavily favour
the Fomorians,
both in number and omens. Victories will be hard won. If the
outcomes
from the year’s smaller events go badly then it could
be even worse.
2) We are going to spend a whole year and a larger budget
preparing this event
with the obvious increase in quality.
3) We are going on a recruiting drive for crew (of which this
flyer is the first part)
so that we can have a truly massive host.
Because we are making an effort to make crewing this event
even more fun than normal,
even if you do not normally crew, this might be an event to
join the forces of darkness.
We are looking for experienced Larpers to play some of the
big bads.
Casocorach, Ard Ri to the free peoples of Culhaven will die
this Beltain,
but will it be at the hands of the Druids who will harvest
his blood with joy as they plough
his body back to the earth, or will it be the grasping hands
of his enemies that finally
drag him down. And how many more will join him upon the sword
bridge.
